I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful in a charming French village. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the gardens and hidden courtyards added to the tranquil atmosphere. The hosts were extremely helpful and spoke English well. I loved that my dog was welcomed everywhere, even in the dining room. The breakfast was delicious and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The location was perfect for exploring nearby WWII sites.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We stayed at a charming bed and breakfast in Normandy, run by a delightful host. the property was stunningly beautiful, with picturesque gardens and a soothing stream just outside our window. the rooms were spacious and well-decorated, and breakfast in the old stable was a lovely experience. the host provided us with maps that were very helpful for exploring the nearby D-Day beaches and museums. it was a perfect stay and we highly recommend La Malposte Bed & Breakfast.

The room at La Malposte was cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom that had a shower and a hairdryer. It also had a seating area where I could relax and a private entrance that added a touch of exclusivity. I really enjoyed the convenience of having a microwave in the room.
Personally, I found the seating area a little too small for my liking. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right?

The room was sick, like a legit barn but cozy AF. The hosts were hella cool, always ready to help and they even had this super chill breakfast spot in an old stable. The garden was straight-up goals, with dope outdoor seating and a stream. And the breakfast? OMG, so much jam, croissants, and fresh fruit. Best. Stay. Ever.
If I had to ask for one thing, it would be a lit party scene. Like, imagine if they had a sick DJ, dance floor, and cocktails.

The double room at La Malposte was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely seating area where I could relax and unwind. The private entrance added a touch of exclusivity and made me feel like I had my own little haven. I even had a microwave to heat up some snacks whenever I wanted. The private bathroom was great too, with a refreshing shower and a hairdryer for my convenience.
The only thing I didn't quite fancy was that the double room had a seating area. It didn't quite fit my taste, but I understand that others might enjoy having this extra space.

What I loved about La Malposte was its delightful and charming decoration. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere with beautiful vintage furniture and elegant decor. The shared lounge area was comfortable and perfect for relaxing and chatting with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The pathways were well-maintained and there were no steep stairs or difficult obstacles to navigate.
A better vacation for senior people would have been possible if there were more assistance from the children working there.

The renovated old mill was a dream come true, with its stunning garden by a stream. It provided a lovely sanctuary after a long drive. The family suite was a beautiful space, and the delicious breakfast added to the experience. the location was excellent, with plenty of facilities and eateries just a short drive away.
The shower room in the family suite was a bit too compact and may not be suitable for longer stays. , it would have been nice to have mirrors in the bedrooms, as there was only one in the bathroom that we had to share among four people.

The gardens were Instagram-worthy, and the WiFi actually worked! I had the pleasure of enjoying a continental breakfast and even went hiking. The nearby Memorial of Caen was just a short drive away, so convenient!
The shared lounge was just too cozy for my liking, I couldn't find a spot to show off my designer handbag. Ugh.

the hosts at La Malposte were incredibly welcoming, generous, and kind. the breakfast they prepared each morning was absolutely amazing, with delicious pastries and homemade jams. the property itself was like a paradise, with beautiful gardens and a soothing stream running through it. My kids particularly loved the tree swing that hung over the stream. We also discovered that the area has a fascinating history, which added to the unique charm of our stay. Plus, it was only a short 20-minute drive to Juno beach and the Canadian D-Day Museum, making it a convenient location for exploring the area. Cons: Can't think of anything 😊.

The breakfasts were delicious, with a variety of homemade jams and fresh pastries. the location was convenient, only a 20-minute drive to Juno beach. the gardens and streams on the property created a peaceful and heavenly atmosphere.
The twin beds were uncomfortable, but the queen bed was fine. the stairs may be a bit steep for small children to manage, but this seems to be common in France.
